Assistant Front Office Manager

Seeking Assistant Front Office Manager with 3 years of hospitality experience with a minimum of 2 years hotel management experience. Experience within the Hilton Worldwide Portfolio is a plus.

Candidates must be flexible, willing to work evening shifts, weekends and holidays. Assistant Front Office Manager serves as the Manager on Duty for the hotel. As the MOD, you are responsible for:

  • Managing all Front Office operations to include, but not limited to, guest service and registration (check-in/check-out), room inventory and availability, guest service standards and initiatives, product quality, cost controls and valet.
  • Monitor and develop team member performance to include, but not limited to, providing supervision, scheduling, conducting counseling and evaluations and delivering recognition and reward
  • Monitor and assess service and satisfaction trends, evaluate and address issues and recommend improvements.
  • Ensure compliance with Hilton standards.
  • Meet and greet guests and respond to guest inquiries, requests and issues in a timely, friendly and efficient manner and resolves guest concerns.
  • Initiate and implement up-selling techniques to promote hotel services and facilities to maximize room occupancy and overall revenue
  • Ensure team members have current knowledge of hotel products, services, facilities, events, pricing and policies and knowledge of the local area and events
  • Interview and train team members as needed.

Banquet Prep Cook

A Banquet Prep Cook with Hilton Southlake is responsible for preparing food items in accordance with recipes and established standards in the hotel’s continuing effort to deliver outstanding service and financial profitability. As a Banquet Prep Cook, you would be responsible for preparing food items in accordance with recipes and established standards in the hotel’s continuing effort to deliver outstanding service and financial profitability. Specifically, you would be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:

  • Prepare food items according to designated recipes and quality standards
  • Maintain cleanliness and comply with food sanitation standards at all times
  • Manage guest orders in a friendly, timely and efficient manner
  • Ensure knowledge of menu and all food products
  • Stock and maintain designated food station(s)
  • Visually inspect all food sent from the kitchen
  • Practice correct food handling and food storage procedures according to federal, state, local and company regulations
  • Prepare requisitions for supplies and food items, as needed

Sous Chef

Seeking experienced Sous Chef. As a Sous Chef, you would be responsible for assisting with the direction and oversight of all culinary operations in the hotel and supporting our continued efforts to deliver outstanding guest service and financial profitability. Specifically, you would be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:

  • Assist the Executive Chef in the direction and oversight of all culinary operations, to include, but not limited to, preparation and production of all hotel meals, food quality and presentation, compliance with all safety and sanitation standards and regulation, team member productivity and performance, implementation of policies and procedures, cost controls and overall profitability
  • Create and implement menu selections for special banquet themes and events based on current food trends and regional tastes in partnership with the Executive Chef and Director of Food and Beverage, as needed
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, local and company health, safety, sanitation and alcohol awareness standards
  • Assist in monitoring and developing team member performance to include, but not limited to, providing supervision, conducting counseling and assisting with evaluations, training, scheduling and assigning work and delivering recognition and reward
  • Must be able to work a flexible schedule that will days, evenings, weekends and holidays
  • This position requires 2 years of cooking experience
  • 1 year of kitchen supervisory experience is preferred

Housekeeper/Room Attendant

Positions available for housekeeping, please send resume and make sure to include a phone number so that management may contact you directly. As a Housekeeper, you would be responsible for cleaning guest rooms and responding to guest requests. Specifically, you would be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:

  • Clean guest rooms as assigned, including, but not limited to, making beds, cleaning bathrooms, dusting and vacuuming
  • Change and replenish bed linens, towels and guest amenities, as needed
  • Perform deep cleaning tasks, as needed
  • Stock, maintain and transport housekeeping supply cart on a daily basis
  • Dispose of trash and recyclables
  • Respond to special guest requests in a timely, friendly and efficient manner
  • Perform guest turn down service, as needed
